Silver Beads
Silver beads are great for accenting bright, bold beads on a strand. They make great spacers because they are elegant but don’t detract too much attention from the main beads. Larger silver beads can also be used to create bold pieces.
A strand of beads consisting mostly of silver should be on a thick stringing material because silver beads can become heavy if many are used. Some people have even found they like the way large silver beads look on an actual jewelry chain. Chain can only be used if the holes on the beads are large enough to accommodate the clasp, or if the crafter knows how to add a clasp after the beads have been added.
Silver beads are most commonly used as spacer beads. Small beads will fit nicely on the strand and help to create an attractive pattern. Small gold beads also make elegant spacers.
