Plastic Beads

Plastic beads are low cost beads made from acrylic or another plastic compound. They are inexpensive so they can be purchased in bulk. Some plastic beads are very stylish, others are just basic.

Plastic beads are great for kids’ projects because they are not easily broken and they cost little to replace if lost. They also come in a multitude of bright colors. Always supervise children with bead work to prevent choking.

Some plastic beads actually snap together, this makes creating necklaces and bracelets easy and fun. Most adults wouldn’t wear jewelry made with snap-together beads, but kids love the ability to rearrange their jewelry on a whim. Kids also love the bold colors and fun shapes they can come in.
